Supply Chain Manager

The Job:
  • Develope and execute warehousing, air shipment and ocean shipment strategies to facilitate lowest landed cost for global B2B buyers from Global Sources online web site.
  • Identifies logistics solutions that will enhance value to buyer customers and support delivering products. This includes warehousing, air and ocean logistics as well as customs clearance and necessary import/export declarations.
  • Negotiate contracts with third party service providers to implement logistics solutions.
  • Define processes for supporting such logistics solutions, including data capture from manufacturers and data interfaces with logistics service providers.
  • Defines requirements to support in house automation and/or integration with third party service providers.
  • Assist in defining and implementing processes for other logistics related services, including quality control, warranty processing, replenishment and returns processing, in order to minimize organization’s ongoing operational costs.

Requirements:

The Job:
  • Drive and administer ongoing and future projects and activities to support Client Service Center efforts and help develop Private Supplier Catalog (PSCe) tool to make it an effective customer relationship management tool.

  • Consult with suppliers and clients to gain insights into the types of products and services that they would like to use and that are/will be in demand.
  • Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

Lead/Senior Systems Developer(Data Warehousing)

The Job:
    You will be responsible for business requirement analysis, data warehouse architectural design, development and maintenance of the Operational Data Store and Data Warehouse. This includes designing end-to-end Business Intelligence Systems for business activity monitoring, customer analytics, campaign tracking, site metrics and developing complex reporting models to meet overall requirements.
    This position will work with the BI team, system integrators, DBA's and Development Engineers to understand data sources, design and implement new requirements along with maintaining existing DW system. This person is technically responsible for the quality of the deliverables, reporting performance and scalability.
Requirements:

The candidate is expected to have at least 4-5+ years of solid hands-on experience in:
  • Architecting and building large scalable data warehouses;
  • Logical & physical DW data modeling to satisfy business objectives;
  • Good knowledge of Hyperion Intelligence, Essbase & Oracle Warehouse Builder;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Proactive attitude, capable of thinking in and out of the box, generating ideas and solutions;

The Job:
  • Lead, manage, and train the Artists to ensure that all roughs, layouts, films and other materials produced by the team adhere to the Effective Ad Guidelines and the technical requirements of Global Sources Trade Magazines.
  • Understand the principles of effective business advertising and be responsible for implementing this in all work generated by the Art Service team.
  • Provide the required technical and creative support in generating artworks, rough ad layouts and finished ads as per set schedules.
  • Ensure desired quality and quantity levels are maintained in the design of all ads.
  • Monitor and report on the quality and timeliness of materials received and recommend the requisite course of action.
  • Supervise and monitor the performance and output of the art support team.
  • Assist in management planning by providing reports on staff productivity, ad exceptions, deadline compliance, art and color separation films, hardware and software requirements.
  • Train and re-train the artists on creating effective business ads.
  • Review existing ads and assess them against the principles of effective business advertising. Suggest and implement improvements as needed.
  • Train the team and other departments on effective advertising and print production processes, materials and flows.
  • Assist in setting up Art Service operations in other areas as requested by the department manager concerned.

  • 相关专业本科以上学历,两年以上同等职位相关工作经验;
